I have suffered with mental health issues and anxiety for most of my life. From an incredibly young age, I experienced anxiety and depression and, in my teens, I experimented with recreational drugs to cope with my personal feelings.

Over time, this way of life took its toll and before I knew it, I was ten years into a heroin addiction. I felt that I never fitted in and always knew that there was more to life than the path I had chosen.

Over the next five years, I battled time and time again to get and stay clean. After numerous attempts at treatment and detox, something finally clicked for me and after a year of not using, my friend offered me the opportunity of a lifetime. He encouraged me to go to the gym and his Muay Thai classes and took me to Thailand to train. I started to rebuild my life.

From this point in January 2011, I started to rebuild my life and with the support of exercise programmes and various other support treatments, from mild medication and psychotherapy to coaching and training camps.

Now that I am in a stable and sustainable place, I have decided to help others that are suffering and to share my tried and tested methods to get back on their feet and start to rebuild their own lives.
